Why did you choose to be a Division III student-athlete?
I chose to be a Division III student-athlete because I wanted to compete and because of my love for the sport. I wanted to run because of the enjoyment, without feeling pressure from high level of competition.

What do you like most about competing in the WIAC?
I enjoy competing in the WIAC because all of the teams are so close. When I compete with ladies in the WIAC, it is fun because it's tough competition and we want each other to succeed. We all support each other.

What is the greatest lesson you have learned from being a student-athlete?
The greatest lesson I have learned is time management and self discipline. As a student-athlete, you have a team depending on you, and coaches who have expectations of you, so you have to teach yourself to manage your time usefully and make good decisions.

If you have been involved in community service projects, which project has been the most rewarding and why?
Walking kids to school because I got to enjoy being with kids during their recess and to play sports and jog around the block. Also, it was fun reliving middle school and talking to the kids about the things going on in their lives.

When you were growing up, what did you want to be?
I wanted to be a nurse since my mom was a nurse. I had always looked up to her, and I enjoyed the health field.

What is your fantasy job/career?
Director of Healthcare Marketing because it is the perfect combination between marketing and healthcare. It's in a healthcare setting, with the marketing tactics behind the career.
