Titans Set to Compete at Ashton May Invitational with a Top-10 #EventSquad and Two Top-10 Marks

OSHKOSH, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh men's track and field team is headed to UW-La Crosse on Friday with a top-10 #EventSquad and two top-10 individual marks in the nation.

#EventSquad Ranking

In week two of the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) #EventSquad rankings, Senior Tay'Jion Johnson, and freshmen Isaiah Isom, Kieran Maude and Steven Wauer average a combined 44' 11" (13.69m) mark in the shot put, which ranks 10th in the nation.

Individual National Rankings

Senior Steven Potter is third in the nation in the 1,500-meter run after running a 3:49.36 at the WashU Distance Carnival last weekend. In the pole vault, senior Eli Tranel sits at sixth after vaulting 15' 7" (4.75m) at the UW-Platteville Pioneer Opener on Saturday.

Where the Titans are Competing

Oshkosh is headed to compete in UW-La Crosse's Ashton May Invitational on Friday. The meet will start at 11 a.m. Competitors from UW-Eau Claire, UW-La Crosse, UW-Stout and Wartburg College (Iowa) will also be in attendance.
