Titans Record 12 Top-Three Finishes in Two-Day Warren Bowlus Multi & Open

MENOMONIE, Wis.- In the two-day Warren Bowlus Multi & Open hosted by UW-Stout on Friday and Saturday, the UW-Oshkosh women's track & field team finished with 12 top-three finishes in the unscored meet.

The heptathlon started on Friday and the last events finished on Saturday. Junior RJ Bosshart took third, accumulating 4,893 points. His finish is a season-best for Oshkosh. Bosshart finished in first in the 60-meter dash (7.07) and long jump (6.99 meters). Sophomore Aden Sears took fourth with 4,871 points. Freshman Matthew Ewens scored 4,231 points for eighth place. Ewens won the high jump with a 1.95-meter mark.

Track Events

Junior Danny Vinson led the Titans with a second place finish in the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.97 seconds. Freshman Ja'siah Williams, sophomore Londyn Little and senior Aaron Richardson took fourth through sixth with times of 6.99, 7.00 and 7.07 seconds, respectively.

Junior Elijah Pena took fifth in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.68 as the only Titan in the final race.

Little won the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.98. Junior Rashaad Henderson followed in third (22.76), Richardson took fifth (23.05) and Ja'siah Williams took sixth (23.16).

Freshman Devin Williams won the 400-meter dash in 50.37. Freshman Fenyx Morningdove placed third with a time of 51.20.

Freshman Cameron Cullen took seventh in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 8:51.47.

Little, Morningdove, Henderson and Devin Williams won the 4x400-meter relay in 3:27.94. Sophomore Jelani Lawson, freshman Nick Vey, sophomore Weston Lerdal and senior Evan Wendland took fifth with a time of 3:35.21. Freshmen Damareyon Taylor, Charlie Nolan, senior Denzel Thomas and Pena took sixth with a time of 3:40.43.

Field Events

Nolan and sophomore Caleb Cornelius tied for second with jumps of 1.91-meters. Freshman Mason Delaney tied for seventh with a 1.81-meter jump.

Senior Eli Tranel took second in the pole vault with a mark of 5.00 meters, followed by sophomore Zach Zirgibel in third (4.55).

In the long jump, senior Jamyle Brantley finished in second with a 6.56-meter jump. Freshmen Caleb Wright and Elijah McCauley took fourth and sixth with jumps of 6.49 and 6.36 meters, respectively.

Senior Ben Jung grabbed second in the triple jump, jumping to a 13.10-meter finish. Wright also placed in the triple jump, earning seventh with a 12.24-meter mark.

Freshman Kieran Maude led Oshkosh with a fourth place, 14.68-meter throw in the shot put. Freshman Isaiah Isom followed in third with a 14.51-meter throw of his own

The Titans return to action on Saturday, Feb. 4 in the Ripon College Red Hawk Invitational.
