Coon, Fregien, Kindt And Mau Named CSC Academic All-District

OSHKOSH, Wis.- Izzy Coon, Abby Fregien, Riley Kindt and Kalli Mau were all included on the College Sports Communicators' annual Academic All-District list was released on Tuesday (Dec. 12).

This is the second consecutive year four members of the UW-Oshkosh women's volleyball team were named All-District.

Coon (So. • Fond du Lac), Kindt (Sr. • Kimberly) and Mau (Sr. • Kimberly) are nursing majors and Fregien (Jr. • Waukesha) is a rehabilitation science major.

The Titans were joined by three student-athletes from UW-La Crosse, one from UW-Platteville, four from UW-River Falls, four from UW-Stevens Point, two from UW-Stout and four from UW-Whitewater.

The 2022 Academic All-District Volleyball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field or court and in the classroom. Fregien, Kindt and Mau have advanced to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First- and second-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced Jan. 9, 2024.
