Titans Finish Two Events, Advance To Finals In Another At NCAA Championship

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.- The UW-Oshkosh women's track & field team finished the second day of the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championship in Myrtle Beach, S.C. with a final round qualifier in Cyna Madigan.

Madigan (Jr. • Rosendale) will run in the final round of the 800-meter dash on Saturday (May 25) after running a 2:11.20 in the first round. She finished third on the event during the 2023 outdoor championship.

Megan Hunt (Jr. • Lemont, Ill.) wrapped up the heptathlon with 4,078 total points, which earned her 19th place. She recorded a top-eight finish in the long jump with a fourth-place mark of 5.48 meters (17' 11 3/4").

In her first event of the meet, Brenna Masloroff (Sr. • Franklin) took 15th in the shot put by recording a best cast of 13.53 meters (44' 4 3/4"). She will return on Saturday for the hammer throw.

Amelia Lehman (Jr. • Oshkosh) will join Madigan and Masloroff as a finalist in the 1,500-meter run.
