Titans Enter Final Meets Before NCAA Championship

LA CROSSE, Wis./RIPON, Wis./WARTBURG, Iowa- The UW-Oshkosh men's track & field team competed at final qualifiers at UW-La Crosse, Ripon College and Wartburg College (Iowa) on Friday and Saturday (Mar. 1-2).

Brenna Masloroff (Sr. • Franklin) won both the 20-lb. weight throw and shot put at Ripon with best distances of 16.05 and 13.46 meters, respectively. Bobbi Blahnik (Jr. • Algoma) finished with cast of 14.34 meters in the weight throw, good for third place.

Adriana Garcia (Fr. • Green Bay) and Anna Bubolz (Sr. • Fremont) also competed at Ripon. Garcia finished the 400-meter dash in second at 1:01.43 and Bubolz took third in the long jump with a 5.18-meter mark.

Amelia Lehman won the mile run at Wartburg in 4:58.46.

Libby Geisness (Sr.  • Waukesha) was the only Titan to compete at UW-La Crosse, finishing eighth in the 800-meter run in a time of 2:20.66.

The NCAA will announce this year's qualifiers for the Division III Indoor Championship on Sunday evening (Mar. 3) on NCAA.com. This year's national meet will take place in Virginia Beach, Virginia on March 8-9.
