Titans Set to Compete in NCAA Championships

OSHKOSH, Wis.- This week, the UW-Oshkosh women's track and field team will send three athletes to Rochester, N.Y. to compete in the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships from Thursday to Saturday (May 25-27).

The 41st edition of the NCAA Division III Championships, the meet will be held at the Polisseni Track and Field Complex in Rochester, hosted by St. John Fisher University (N.Y.) and the Rochester NY Sports Commission.

The top 22 individuals and top 16 relay teams earned their way to the national meet based on results throughout the 2023 outdoor season. The top eight finishers in each event at the championships will receive All-America status.

UWO has sent athletes to the national outdoor meet every year since 1983, winning the title nine times (1990, 1991, 1995, 1996, 1997, 2004, 2006, 2007 and 2011), the most of any women's program in championship history.

Cyna Madigan (So./Rosendale) qualified for the meet in the 800-meter run. She currently ranks eighth in the nation and fifth in school history.

Amelia Lehman (So./Oshkosh), who ranks ninth nationally this season and sixth in program history in the 1,500-meter run.

The final qualifier for the women's team is Megan Hunt (So./Lemont, Ill.). She will compete in the long jump, currently sitting 22nd nationally and is tied for fifth in school history.
