Titans Headed to UW-La Crosse with a Top-10 #EventSquad and Two Top-10 Marks
OSHKOSH, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh women's track and field team holds a top-10 #EventSquad ranking and two top-10 marks in the nation headed into competition in La Crosse on Friday.
In the second week of the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) #EventSquad rankings, the shot put squad made up of junior Brenna Masloroff, senior Katie Fruth, sophomore Bobbi Blahnik and junior Micky Barrette sit ninth with an average cast of 37' 10 1/4" (11.54m).
Cyna Madigan is ranked fifth in the nation with a 2:12.48 finish in the 800-meter run and Amelia Lehman is ranked sixth in the 1,500-meter run, both competing in last weekend's WashU Distance Carnival.
Where the Titans are Competing
Oshkosh is headed to compete in UW-La Crosse's Ashton May Invitational on Friday. The meet will start at 11 a.m. Competitors from UW-Eau Claire, UW-La Crosse, UW-Stout, Wartburg College (Iowa) and Winona State University (Minn.) will also be in attendance.
