Titans Return Leadership for 2022-23 Season

OSHKOSH, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh Titans open the season on the road at the Ripon College Winter Open on Dec. 3.

Head coach Justin Kinseth is returning as the head coach for the men's and women's track and field teams for his sixth season. He is joined by assistants Eamon McKenna (12th season), Al Tappling (10th), Kyle Van Damme (fifth), Jared Benson (fourth), Brittany Sykes (second), Cheyenne Moore (fourth), Sylviann Momont (first) and Brittany Haas-Gibson (first). 

The Titans bring back 34 athletes from last season and add 17 athletes. The Titans placed third in the WIAC Indoor Track & Field championships in Platteville last season, with four first-place finishes. Alexandria Demco took the 800-meter and mile runs, Demco, Libby Geisness, Hannah Lorenz and Cyna Madigan won the distance medley, and Riley Kindt broke a school-record in the 60-meter hurdles that was set in 2016. The team has finished in the top-four at every conference meet since 1985, winning the conference 13 times since the program began. 

2021-22 Honors

Demco and Riley Kindt each earned All-America honors at the NCAA Division III Women's Indoor Track & Field Championship. Demco finished third in the mile run with a time of 4:41.68. Kindt finished sixth in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.77 seconds, and ninth in the long jump with a measurement of 18-1.

Demco, Kindt, Libby Geisness, Hannah Lorenz and Cyna Madigan all were named to the NCAA Division III All-North Region Women's Indoor Track & Field Team.

Demco earned WIAC Indoor Track & Field Championship Track Performer of the Meet; winning the 800-meter run with a time of 2:16.41, the mile run with a time of 5:01.96 and running in the first-place distance medley with Geisness, Lorenz and Madigan.

Emma Warr received the WIAC Judy Kruckman Women's Indoor Track & Field Scholar-Athlete award.

Assistant coach Eamon McKenna was named the NCAA Division III North Region Women's Indoor Track & Field Assistant Coach of the Year.
