Titans Set for Matches Against Whitewater and La Crosse

OSHKOSH, Wis.—Celebrating homecoming week with a home game, the UW-Oshkosh Titans women's soccer program as the Titans are set for WIAC competition this week. The Titans (4-6-4, 0-2-2 WIAC) will play host to the Warhawks of UW-Whitewater (9-3-3, 3-1 WIAC) on Oct. 19 at J. J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium at 7 p.m.

The Titans will hit the road as they travel to UW-La Crosse (13-1-1, 4-0) for a night game on Oct. 22 at 6 p.m.

The Eagles of La Crosse sit atop the conference standings, while Whitewater is in a tie for second with UW-Platteville.

A Check of the Titans Numbers

Greta Steines leads the Titans in goals scored this season at six. Rylie Kaufmann adds five goals, while Grace Herrmann and Gabby Born are credited with four apiece. Kaufmann has a team-leading 29 shots, with 15 on target. Born leads the team in assists at five with Anika Roush adding four assists this season.

Splitting goal minding duties, Mallory Kerhin and Emma Sauriol have recorded a combined 75% save percentage and a pair of shutouts.

The Titans are No. 3 in the league for shots per game (8.36). Alayna Clark is No. 8 in the league for shots on target (1.21 per game). Steines is No. 4 in the WIAC in goals (.429 per game) while Born and Clark are in the top-10 for assists.

Wednesday Match-Up Against Whitewater

The Warhawks are led by a team-high 10 goals from Allie Prigge, while Emily Thill adds three assists to lead the team. The Warhawks are averaged 1.4 goals per games, with 10.4 shots per game.

Jude Dobrinska has started all 15 games for the Warhawks between the posts and recorded a save percentage of 75%, .88 goals allowed average, and six shutouts.

Prigge and Thill are in the top-10 in the WIAC for shots, with Prigge sitting at No. 3 in shots on goal. Prigge leads the leads in goals per game at .714.

Looking Ahead to La Crosse

The Eagles, who are receiving a No. 15 ranking from the United Soccer Coaches poll and No. 12 from D3soccer, are led by Allan Ainsley in shots (3.87 per game), shots on goal (2.07 per game), and sits at No. 2 in the league in goals at .6 per game.

Claire Carter leads the team in assists at five and sits at No. 5 in the league.

Sophia Anger takes on goalkeeping duties for the Eagles, with a save percentage of 89.5 and a goals allowed average of .60. Anger has recorded four shutouts this season.
