OSHKOSH, Wis.— The UW-Oshkosh Titans softball squad continues an eight-game home series. The Titans are hosting three teams this weekend for seven games inside the Rec Plex on the UW-Oshkosh campus.
UW-Superior and Wisconsin Lutheran College get the action started with a 10 a.m. first pitch on March 4. Wisconsin Lutheran and Lawrence University will play at 12 p.m. on March 4. The Titans take the field at 2 p.m. for a game against UW-Superior before concluding day one action against Lawrence at 4 p.m.
On March 5, UW-Superior and Lawrence will have first pitch starting at 10 a.m. The Titans will then play Lawrence at 12 p.m. before concluding weekend action against UW-Superior at 2 p.m.
The Yellowjackets of Superior, Warriors of Wisconsin Lutheran, and Vikings of Lawrence will all open their seasons at the Invitational.
Oshkosh First Weekend Review
In the opening weekend of the 2023 season, the Titans swept Lakeland University in a doubleheader. Abby Garceau scored two runs for the Titans in game two against Lakeland while Sophie Wery scored two runs in the first game for the Titans. Wery hit the Titans first homerun of the season during the season opener. In the doubleheader sweep, the Titans combined for 11 hits and seven runs.
