Twenty-Three Titans Qualify For NCAA Division III Indoor Championship

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.- Twenty-three members of the UW-Oshkosh men's and women's track & field teams qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships, as announced on NCAA.com on Sunday evening (Mar. 3).

Charlie Nolan (So. • Normal, Ill.), Aden Sears (Jr. • Eureka ,Ill.), RJ Bosshart (Sr. • Muskego), Cavan Dobberstein (Fr. • Manawa), and Payton White (Sr. • Berrien Springs, Mich.) all qualified for the heptathlon. The five qualifications are the most invitations any school received to the Division III Championships this season, regardless of gender.

The Titans had four qualifiers for the 60-meter dash, including program record-holder Davian Willems (So. • De Pere). Danny Vinson (Jr. • Berrien Springs, Mich.), Joey Kean (Sr. • Middleton), and Ray Talbert (Jr. • Waterloo, Iowa) also hold top-20 times in the nation.

Leading Oshkosh's three high jump qualifiers is Caleb Cornelius (Jr. • Racine), who holds the highest mark in Division III. Nolan and Kyle Wisniewski (Fr. • New London) also qualified.

Joshua Rivers (Sr. • Chicago, Ill.) is also a national leader in the long jump. He will be joined in the jump pit by Londyn Little (Jr. • Columbia, Ill.) and Caleb Wright (So. • Oswego, Ill.).

Little and Rashaad Henderson (Sr. • Racine) also qualified for the 200-meter dash while Dwight Hosni (Jr. • Cedarburg) is set to run in the 800-meter run and Sears will race in the 60-meter hurdles.

Zach Zirgibel (Jr. • Merton), JV Myles (Fr. • Germantown), and Isaiah Isom (So. • Lansing, Ill.) qualified individually for the pole vault, triple jump and shot put.

Brenna Masloroff (Sr. • Franklin) and Megan Hunt (Jr. • Lemont, Ill.) headlined the Titan women qualifiers with spots in the shot put and 20-lb. weight throw and long jump and pentathlon, respectively.

Oshkosh also received qualifying marks from Cyna Madigan (Jr. • Rosendale) in the 800-meter run and Amelia Lehman in the mile run.

The NCAA Championships will be hosted in Virginia Beach, Va. on Friday and Saturday (Mar. 8-9).
