Titans Compete in La Crosse, Joliet, Ill.

LA CROSSE, Wis./JOLIET, Ill.- The UW-Oshkosh men's track and field team sent athletes to compete in the unscored UW-La Crosse Eagle Open and St. Francis Fighting Chance Invite on Friday and Saturday (May 12-13).

Track Event Results

Junior Rashaad Henderson grabbed second in the 200-meter dash in 21.49 seconds in La Crosse.

The 4x400-meter relay squad finished at the Fighting Chance Invite in second place with a season-best 3:13.62.

For the second time in three weeks, senior Steven Potter set his personal record in the 1,500-meter run. He improved upon his second-fastest time in school history with a fifth-place, 3:46.96.

Sophomore Jake Krause jumped into the 3,000-meter steeplechase record book in Joliet, running a 9:03.83, a personal record and the fifth-fastest time in school history.

On Saturday, sophomore Londyn Little broke Neil Taylor's 200-meter dash record that had stood since 1984 when he ran a third-place, 21.19 second time.

The 4x100-meter relay squad ran the fastest time of the season at 40.73 seconds, taking second and falling short of the school record by just over half a second (0.54).

Field Event Results

As a consistent top-finisher in the triple jump, senior Jonathan Wilburn took second, skipping 47' 7.75" (14.52m) at UWL.

Also taking second was sophomore Zach Zirgibel with a best height of 15' 11.25" (4.86m) in the pole vault.

Freshman Kieran Maude finished the shot put in third place with a best cast of 49' 3.5" (15.02m).
