Competition at the 35th Division III Championship will be held in the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center. The top 20 individuals and 12 relay teams earned their way to the national meet based on results throughout the season. The top eight finishers in each event at the Division III Championship will earn All-America status.

Powers, who swept the 200- and 400-meter titles at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Indoor Championship this season, is seeking his third indoor All-America award after finishing sixth in the 400-meter run at both the 2016 and 2018 Division III Championships.

Powers, the 2019 WIAC Track Performer of the Meet at the league indoor championship, enters this year's national meet with qualifying times of 21.45 seconds in the 200-meter dash and 47.45 in the 400-meter run. He holds the school indoor records at the 200- and 400-meter distances. Powers is attempting to become the program's first indoor All-American in the 200-meter dash.

Wesley College (Del.) freshman Kai Cole is the favorite to win the 200-meter dash this season with a time of 21.40, while junior defending champion Patrick Mikel from Loras College (Iowa) is seeded first in the 400-meter run with a time of 47.18.

Skinkis is seeded fourth in the 800-meter run with a qualifying time of 1:50.33. The 2017 WIAC champion at 800 meters, Skinkis earned All-America accolades as a member of the Titan distance medley relay that placed seventh in 2015.
