Titans Headed To WIAC Tournament

OSHKOSH, Wis.- The fourth-seeded UW-Oshkosh women's soccer team is headed to the WIAC Tournament (presented by Culver's), opening postseason play on Tuesday (Oct. 31) against No. 5 UW-Stevens Point at J. J. Keller Field at Titan Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.

The Titans (5-9-4, 3-3-1 WIAC) earned the No. 4 seed on the back of a 3-1-1 WIAC finish in the regular season.

UW-La Crosse (15-1-1, 7-0 WIAC) and UW-Platteville (9-2-5, 4-1-2 WIAC) earned the first and second seeds and byes in the first round.

Sixth-seeded UW-Whitewater will travel to third-seeded UW-Eau Claire for a 6 p.m. kickoff on Tuesday.

The highest remaining seed will travel to UW-Platteville to face the Pioneers at 6 p.m. on Thursday (Nov. 2), while the lowest will head to UW-La Crosse to face the Eagles at the same time.

The winners of the semifinal matchups will play for the WIAC Tournament title on Saturday (Nov. 4) at the site of the highest remaining seed. The winner of that game earns the league's automatic berth into the 64-team NCAA Division III Championship that begins Nov. 11.

Roanoke College (Va.) hosts the semifinal and national championship rounds at Kerr Stadium in Salem, Va., Nov. 30-Dec. 3.

The Titans own a 2-0-1 record against the Pointers since 2021, including a 4-1 win Oct. 18 at home.

Oshkosh is a three-time WIAC Tournament champion, previously winning the title in 2011, 2014 and 2021.
