Titans Set for Matches Against Stout, St. Norbert

OSHKOSH, Wis.—The road swing continues for the UW-Oshkosh Titans soccer squad as they are set to face conference foe UW-Stout on Oct. 8 at 2 p.m. The Titans will return home for a three-game series as they take on St. Norbert College in a non-conference game on Oct. 10 at 7 p.m.

The Titans (3-5-3, 0-1-1 WIAC) battled to a 2-2 draw against Stevens Point, which saw Grace Herrmann nab her first career brace.

Greta Steines and Rylie Kaufmann led the Titans in goal scored (5) as Herrmann and Gabby Born follow with four goals each. Born leads the team in assists (4), while Alayna Clark leads the team in shots on goal at 13 (59%).

Mallory Kerhin has minded the net for the Titans seven times this season (2-3-1), with a save percentage of 80% (1.54 GAA). Kerhin has recorded two shutouts for the Titans this season.

The Blue Devils of UW-Stout (1-9-2, 0-1 WIAC) average 10.3 shots per game, with 46% of attempts on target. The Blue Devils have recorded seven goals this season, while the defense has recorded 64 saves (78%). Lily Shield has faced 84 shots from opponents with a 1.8 GAA. Marissa Steele and Caylee Boone lead the team with two goals apiece, while Steele leads the team in assists (2).

The Green Knights of St. Norbert will face the Titans in Oshkosh on Oct. 10. The Green Knights (5-7-0) have been led by Abby Thompson's six goals this season. Haley Leadingham has added four goals and three assists at the Green Knights offense has scored a combined 18 goals this season. Leadingham and Mallory Names lead the team in assists at three. Tending the net, Lily Collins has seen action in 11 games with a 68% save percentage and 1 shutout. Carlene Gorla has the other shutout for the Green Knights with 15 saves in five games.
