Titans Set for Match in Stevens Point

OSHKOSH, Wis.—Hitting the road for a midweek conference match, the UW-Oshkosh Titans soccer program is set to take on the UW-Stevens Point Pointers on Oct. 5. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. in Stevens Point.

The Titans (3-5-2) are led by Rylie Kaufmann and Greta Steines with five goals apiece. Gabby Born has scored four goals for the Titans and leads the team in shots (21) and assists (4).

Minding the net for the Titans, Mallory Kerhin has served as the keeper seven times, with a save percentage of 80% and two shutouts. Emma Sauriol has stepped into the net this season, recording one shutout and eight saves.

The Pointers (3-6-1) saw senior keeper Miranda Nieman make a career-high 21 saves against UW-La Crosse in their season opener. Kati Frierdich leads the Pointers with four goals this season, while Shea-Lynn Gerred leads the team in assists (3).

The Titans posted a 2-1 victory last season in Oshkosh over the Pointers.
