No. 22 Titans Host St. Norbert in Midweek Matchup

OSHKOSH, Wis.—The UW-Oshkosh Titans softball squad schedule has changed for this week and the Titans will host St. Norbert College on March 29 in the Rec Plex. Game times for the doubleheader will be 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

The Titans return to Oshkosh with the No. 22 ranking in the latest National Fastpitch Coaches Association poll. The Titans hold a 17-1 record this season, the program's best start in recent years.

The Titans hold several national rankings, including ERA at 0.84 and winning percentage at 94.4%. The Titans have recorded five shutouts this season, which is in the top-10 nationally. The Titans are in the top-15 nationally in walks (69), total sacrifice flies (eight), and fielding percentage (.976).

Leading the team in batting average, Brianna Davis leads the team at .500 and is joined by Hannah Ritter in the top-4 in the WIAC. Ritter is No. 2 in the WIAC for league hits at 28 while Sophie Wery sits in second for RBI at 20. Gabby Buikema and Morgan Rau lead the WIAC in walks at 15.

Maddie Fink has several top ranks in the WIAC with ERA .55 (No. 2), games started at 9 (No. 1), complete games (seven), and shutouts (three). Sydney Nemetz sits at No. 3 in the WIAC for ERA at 0.86 and is tied with Fink for games started (nine).

Looking at St. Norbert

The Green Knights have started the season 6-4, having opened the 2023 campaign at the Spring Games in Florida.

Paige Diercks leads the team in batting average at .429, while Lilly Haase is the leading run scorer at 10. Allison Ardito leads the team with 14 hits, with three other Green Knights in double-digit hits. All ten of Christina Paleka's hits have been RBIs with a batting average of .303.

In the pitcher's circle, Elizabeth Stuebs leads the team with an ERA of 3.23, six appearances, and one complete game. Addison Race has recorded 13 strikeouts to lead the team while Bailie Thielen holds opponents to a .225 batting average.
