In the 200-yard individual medley, Anderson beat 36 other competitors with his time of 1:56.59 – the fastest in UW-Oshkosh history. Billy Schultze of Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.) came in second place at 1:57.62.

Anderson recorded his victory in the 200-yard butterfly by more than six seconds. His mark of 1:55.56 easily defeated second-place finisher Alexander Plaetzer of UW-Eau Claire at 2:01.78.

Continuing his success, Anderson posted a 50.55 to top the 41-man field in the 100-yard butterfly. The runner-up was Gustavus Adolphus College’s Matt Von Fossen, who timed a 52.57.

UW-Oshkosh’s remaining notable performance (seventh place) was by the 200-yard medley relay squad, which included Anderson. Also propelling the Titans to a 1:43.60 finish were Eddie Dominguez (So. • Greendale), Matt Engelhardt (So. • DeForest) and Brian Markovich (Jr. • Colgate).

The Titans competed in the invitational’s red division, which consisted of eight schools. UW-River Falls was the host school.
