Titans to Wrap Up Regular Season on the Road

OSHKOSH, Wis.- In the final game of the regular season, 19-5 (12-1 WIAC) UW-Oshkosh will travel to Stevens Point to face the 10-14 (3-10 WIAC) Pointers on Bennett Court at Quandt Fieldhouse at 7 p.m.

The Titans defeated the Pointers 81-45 in their first matchup of the season at Kolf Sports Center on Wednesday, Feb. 18.

Previewing the Titans

Oshkosh leads the conference, only allowing 61.6 points per game, also holding opponents to 42.0 percent from the field and 33.0 percent from three-point range. They average 71.5 offensive points per game. Senior forward Levi Borchert leads the league with 258 rebounds, averaging 10.8 rebounds per game. His 365 points, 139 made field goals and 84 made free throws all sit in the top-five. Senior guard Eric Peterson leads the league, recording 42 steals this season. Senior guards Hunter Plamann and Quinn Steckbauer both rank second in the league with a 45.3 shooting percentage from three and an 84.5 shooting percentage from three throw, respectively. Sophomore Jonah Rindfleisch sits in the top-three in blocks with 28.

Previewing the Pointers

Stevens Point averages 65.8 points per game and allow an average of 70.7 points. The Pointers sit third in the league with a 73.0 shooting percentage from the line. Second in the league, they have recorded 182 steals, averaging 7.58 per game. Junior guard Jake Buchanan leads Stevens Point with 290 points, averaging 13.2 per game. He has made 103 field goals and 43 threes, each leading the Pointers. Junior guard AJ Makinen leads the league with 77 assists and sits third with 33 steals.
