Titans to Return Home to Face Pioneers

OSHKOSH, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh men's basketball team is coming home on Wednesday to take on UW-Platteville at 7 p.m. Wednesday will be College of Business Night in Kolf Sports Center.

Oshkosh has won the last four games against Platteville, including a sweep of the Pioneers last season. The Titans won both regular season matchups and defeated Platteville 75-73 in the WIAC championship game.

Previewing the Titans

Oshkosh holds a 14-5 (7-1 WIAC) record and has won their last five games, all against conference opponents. The Titans have held their opponents to 59.7 points per game, leading the league and ranking 10th nationally. They also hold opponents to league-lows in field goal percentage (41.1), three-point percentage (32.5) and rebounds per game (30.3). Senior forward Levi Borchert leads the Titans with 273 points and has recorded the most rebounds in the league with 209, which ranks seventh nationally. He also leads in each individual rebounding category. His seven season double-doubles sits at first in the WIAC and seventh in the nation as well. Senior guard Eric Peterson is second in the league in steals (33), recording 1.74 per game. Hunter Plamann, another senior guard has made 43 threes this season, averaging 2.26 per game, ranking third and fourth in the league, respectively. Sophomore forward Jonah Rindfleisch leads the team with 21 blocks, sitting at third in the league.

Previewing the Pioneers

Platteville holds a 12-7 (5-3 WIAC) record. The Pioneers led the WIAC with 11.32 offensive rebounds per game. They are among the top teams in the league in assists (265), blocks (50), and opponent rebounds per game (31.1 per game). Junior forward Logan Pearson has scored 375 points this season, averaging 19.7 points per game, both second in the league. He also ranks second in field goals made (135). Sophomore guard Brady Olson leads the league with 34 steals, averaging 1.79 per game. Junior guard Ben Probst ranks in the top-three in three-pointers made (43), three-pointers per game (2.69) and three-point percentage (39.8).
