Kevin Tomasiewicz (tom-ah-shev-its) will enter his 11th season as UW-Oshkosh's head baseball coach in 2024.

Tomasiewicz owns a 207-165-1 record in his first nine seasons at the helm. He has helped 12 Titans garner a total of 16 All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference First Team accolades as well as five players to seven NCAA Division III All-Midwest Region awards and one player to All-America recognition.

In 2023, Tomasiewicz guided UW-Oshkosh to a 25-15 record (15-9 WIAC). The Titans finished fourth in the WIAC and had multiple four student-athletes on the All-WIAC First Team, including Matt Scherrmann, who earned two all-region first team nods and was tabbed twice for all-america third team.

During the 2022 campaign, Tomasiewicz and the Titans compiled a 24-19 overall record, going 16-12 in WIAC play for third place. UW-Oshkosh, who led the league with 13 triples, had a pair of all-region players in Matt Scherrman (Third Team) and Jake Surane (Second Team) as well as the WIAC Newcomer of the Year in Connor Brinkman.

In 2021, Tomasiewicz's Titans produced a 20-19 record, including a fourth-place 16-12 mark in WIAC play. The Titans, whose 47 home runs were the program's most since 2004, had a pair of all-region players, including Hunter Staniske, who was tabbed a consensus Second Team All-American.

Tomasiewicz and the Titans had a 2-4 record in 2020 before the season was cut short due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.

During the 2019 campaign, Tomasiewicz guided UW-Oshkosh to an 18-21 record and a fifth-place finish (11-13 record) in the WIAC. The Titans ranked second in the conference with 58 stolen bases and 14 triples. UW-Oshkosh starting pitcher Chris Atwood, who was named to the All-WIAC First Team, tossed the 10th no-hitter in program history during an 8-0 victory over Finlandia University (Mich.) on March 31, 2019.

In 2018, Tomasiewicz led UW-Oshkosh to a 34-10 record and its first Division III postseason appearance since 2008. UW-Oshkosh, which reached the championship game of the Duluth (Minn.) Regional, tallied a school-record 111 doubles while establishing its highest overall victory count since 2007. The Titans placed second in the WIAC with an 18-6 record.

In 2017, Tomasiewicz and the Titans compiled a 22-20 record. UW-Oshkosh finished second in the WIAC (11-9 record) for the program's best showing since claiming a share of the 2009 league title.

During the 2016 season, Tomasiewicz led UW-Oshkosh to a 19-21-1 record (9-11 WIAC).

In 2015, Tomasiewicz guided UW-Oshkosh to a 26-17 record (14-10 WIAC). The Titans produced their most wins since 2008 and set a program record with 96 stolen bases.

In his debut season of 2014, Tomasiewicz led UW-Oshkosh to a 17-19 record (7-15 WIAC).

Tomasiewicz came to UW-Oshkosh from North Park University (Ill.), where he served as an associate head coach for the Vikings during the 2012 and 2013 seasons.

With Tomasiewicz handling the pitching staff, the Vikings qualified for the 2012 Division III Championship with a 32-14 record. North Park University won College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin regular season and tournament titles to earn its first postseason berth in 22 years. In 2013, North Park University compiled a 21-21 record.

Under Tomasiewicz, pitchers Steve Kuligowski and Nick Soldano achieved impressive seasons in 2012. Soldano was named an All-American and the CCIW Pitcher of the Year, while Kuligowski collected all-region honors.

Tomasiewicz was an assistant coach at Division II Southwest Minnesota State University from 2010-11. The squad went 29-18 in 2010, with the pitching staff posting a 2.06 strikeout-to-walk ratio. Tomasiewicz mentored Adam Schrader, who was selected by the San Diego Padres in the 2010 MLB Draft.

A pitcher at UW-Whitewater from 2002-05, Tomasiewicz is the WIAC's career leader with 35 victories. He received All-America awards in 2003 and 2005, while being named the Most Valuable Player at the 2005 Division III World Series. Tomasiewicz led the Warhawks to a national title in 2005 and a fourth-place finish in 2003.

Tomasiewicz went 16-0 during the 2002 and 2003 seasons. His 2005 campaign featured league records with 15 wins and 108 innings. Tomasiewicz finished his career with a 35-5 record, 3.19 ERA and 232 strikeouts over 253.1 innings. In 2012, he was named to the WIAC All-Centennial Team.

The New York Mets selected Tomasiewicz in the 26th round of the 2005 MLB Draft. He pitched four years in the minor leagues, totaling a 17-8 record and 4.04 ERA. Tomasiewicz compiled 19 saves and a 2.60 ERA for the Hagerstown (Md.) Suns during the 2006 season. In 2008, he reached the AA level for his highest advancement in professional baseball.

Tomasiewicz, a native of Sleepy Hollow, Ill., earned his bachelor's degree in marketing from UW-Whitewater in 2005 and his master's of business administration from Southwest Minnesota State University in 2011. He is the sixth head coach in UW-Oshkosh history, including just the third since 1971.
