Titans Set for Trip to Face Rose-Hulman

OSHKOSH, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh baseball team is headed to Terre Haute, Ind. to face the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology Fightin' Engineers in a noon doubleheader on Sunday and a 4:00 p.m. game on Monday.

Previewing the Titans

The Titans (6-2), who went 2-1 last weekend, enter the weekend hitting a combined .260 with a .365 on base percentage and 52 runs scored. Zach Taylor is currently hitting a team-leading .361 with an on-base percentage of .410 and 13 hits with six doubles and three home runs in 36 at bats. Jake Surane has stolen six bases on six attempts. Connor Brinkman is 3-0 on the season in three starts. He owns a 1.88 earned run average in 24.0 innings pitched including a complete game with a 3.75 strikeouts per nine innings average.

Previewing the Fightin' Engineers

The Fightin' Engineers (7-3) have won their last six games and are currently hitting .255 and own a .371 on base percentage with 63 runs scored. Kade Kline leads Rose-Hulman with a .425 batting average in 40 at bats, with 12 runs scored on 17 hits, two doubles, a triple, and a home run. He also paces the team with six stolen bases on eight attempts and 10 runs batted in.
