Titans To Take Three Game Trip to Kentucky
OSHKOSH, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh baseball team will travel to Lexington, Ky. For three games at Transylvania University on Saturday and Sunday. They will face DePauw University (Ind.) on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. and Transylvania at 2:30 p.m. Oshkosh will face Transylvania again on Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
Previewing the Titans
The Titans enter the weekend with a 4-1 overall record, going 2-1 in last weekend's games at Webster University (Mo.). They defeated Webster in both games and fell to Benedictine University (Ill.) in 10 innings. Matt Scherrman paces the team with a .429 batting average and a .538 on-base percentage in 21 at bats. He has hit two doubles and a home run for five runs batted in while walking five times. Zach Taylor paces the Titans with seven runs batted in and Jake Surane has stolen six bases.
