Rain Suspends Titans' Baseball Doubleheader

UW-Oshkosh's doubleheader with the UW-Whitewater baseball team was suspended on Wednesday (April 17) at Tiedemann Field because of rainy weather.

The first game was halted after rain and lightning hit the area during the UW-Oshkosh half of the third inning. The contest will resume at 11 a.m. on April 24 at Tiedemann Field. Following its completion, the teams will play three seven-inning contests to conclude their four-game season series.

UW-Oshkosh was ahead 4-0 when Wednesday's opener was stopped. Doug Beattie (Sr. • Escanaba, Mich.), Robbie Kleman (Fr. • Oshkosh) and Michael Swift (So. • Kenosha) each had run-scoring hits for the Titans.

The Titans will host UW-Superior in doubleheaders on Saturday (April 20) and Sunday (April 21) at Tiedemann Field. Action begins at noon on bith days.
