The Panthers (4-1) cut their deficit to 5-3 on a two-run single by Brandon Cox in the third inning. Dave Tammaro hit another single to score Cox and pull his team within 6-3.

Plymouth State University made the score 6-4 on an infield groundout by Cox in the fifth inning.
