Softball, Brianna Bougie

Rhyme and University Books & More are pleased to announce that Brianna Bougie (Fr. • Oshkosh) of the softball team has been named the UW-Oshkosh Female Student-Athlete of the Week for the period of May 20-26.

Bougie etched her named into the UW-Oshkosh softball record book on May 24 by pitching all 14 innings against defending national champion Trine University (Ind.) in the Angola Super Regional. The Titans had dropped the first game of the best-of-three series on May 23 and came back to win both games on the 24th. Bougie allowed just three runs across both games on 12 hits and two walks while striking out six. With the Super Regional win, UW-Oshkosh is headed to the third NCAA Division III World Series in program history. For her performance, she was named the Pitcher of the Angola Super Regional.

Each week throughout the 2023-24 academic year, one male and one female UW-Oshkosh student-athlete are recognized for their accomplishments from the previous week. The award winners will be announced on the UW-Oshkosh athletics website every Monday.
