Titans Headed to WIAC Championships

OSHKOSH, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh women's cross country team is heading to the WIAC Championships on Saturday UW-La Crosse is hosting this year's conference championships at Maple Grove Venues, LLC in West Salem. 

The women's race begins at noon. The top seven runners in each race will receive All-WIAC first team honors, the eighth through fourteenth place finishers will receive All-WIAC second team honors and those finishing between 15th and 20th will receive honorable mentions.

National Rankings

The women's team is ranked sixth in the North Region by the USTFCCCA.

The women's team owns the most titles in conference history with 16. UW-Eau Claire follows with eleven titles. They finished in third place in last year's championship with 83 points, following UW-Eau Claire (62) and conference champions UW-La Crosse (33). Cyna Madigan finished in ninth last year, collected All-WIAC second team honors. Amelia Lehman has been one of the women's team's strongest runners this season, finishing in 17th, 6th and 4th in three races.
