Makurat Named WIAC Cross Country Runner of the Week

MADISON, Wis.—Josie Makurat was named the WIAC Kwik Trip Athlete of the Week for Women's Cross Country after a sixth-place finish at the Gene Davis Invitational.

The invitational was hosted by Lawrence University (Wis.) on Oct. 8. Makurat's time of 23:52 is a personal record by 50 seconds.

Makurat at the Titans claimed a second-place finish at the event, six points behind the first-place team (Ripon).

The Titans return to action on Oct. 15 at the Tori Neubauer Invitational, hosted by UW-La Crosse.
