WIAC Honors Keene With Cross Country Weekly Award

UW-Oshkosh's Ashton Keene was selected as the WIAC Kwik Trip Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week for the period of Oct. 7-13.

Keene led UW-Oshkosh for the third time this season with her second-place finish at the Lawrence University Gene Davis Invitational held Oct. 12 in Appleton.

Keene completed the 6,000-meter course in a time of 23:31.

UW-Oshkosh swept the second through sixth-place individual finishes as former Titan Cheyenne Moore, running unattached, won the race of 100 competitors with her time of 22:38.

UW-Oshkosh's Alexandria Demco finished third in the race with a time of 23:45.

The Titans won the eight-team meet with a perfect score of 15 points. Listing behind UW-Oshkosh in the team standings were second-place St. Norbert College with 68 points and third-place Ripon College with 103.
