Moore Named WIAC Cross Country Athlete Of The Week

The WIAC selected UW-Oshkosh's Cheyenne Moore as its Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week for meets held Oct. 10-16.

Moore finished ninth among 542 runners at the UW-Oshkosh Kollege Town Sports Invitational held Oct. 15 at the Lake Breeze Golf Club in Winneconne.

Moore completed the 6,000-meter course with a time of 21:56. She was the Titans' top finisher in the meet.

Erin Herrmann of Hope College (Mich.) won the race with a time of 21:23 while Aly Wayne of Washington University in St. Louis (Mo.) finished second in 21:27.

UW-Oshkosh finished ninth in the team standings with 272 points. Washington University in St. Louis won the 36-team meet with 94 points while Calvin College (Mich.) placed second with 113.

Moore also received the league's weekly citation for meets held Sept. 5-11.
