Tremonti Selected WIAC Cross Country Athlete Of The Week

UW-Oshkosh's Isabella Tremonti was chosen as the WIAC Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week for meets held Oct. 19-25.

Tremonti ran to a first-place finish as UW-Oshkosh swept the top four individual places during a 20-runner race the Titans hosted on Oct. 23.

Tremonti defeated her competition in the 6,000-meter race by 65 seconds. She recorded a time of 24:00, while UW-Oshkosh's Rhea Fiorita placed second in 25:05, Jessica Stamn third in 25:41 and Taylor Lindblad fourth in 26:18.

The Titans took first place in the team competition with 19 points, while UW-Whitewater finished second with 55 and UW-Stevens Point third with 60.
