Holland Runs To WIAC Cross Country Weekly Citation

The WIAC chose UW-Oshkosh's Courtney Holland as its Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week for meets held Oct. 5-11.

Holland placed third among 58 runners to lead the Titans to a third-place finish at the Lawrence University Gene Davis Invitational held Oct. 10.

Holland completed the 6,000-meter race in a time of 24:13. Ashley Scheele of Concordia University Wisconsin claimed the individual title with a time of 23:55, while Clare Bruning of Lawrence University finished second in 24:00.

Lawrence University won the six-team meet with 27 points, while Concordia University Wisconsin placed second with 56, UW-Oshkosh third with 71 and Wisconsin Track Club fourth with 107.
