Titans Finish Fourth At Warhawk Invitational

UW-Oshkosh clinched a fourth-place finish over Lawrence University on Saturday (Sept. 17) at UW-Whitewater’s 6,000-meter invitational.

UW-Platteville took first place with 31 points ahead of UW-Whitewater with 39 for second, Jackson Community College (Mich.) with 88 for third, UW-Oshkosh with 100 for fourth and Lawrence University with 114 for fifth.

Leading the Titans was Kristin Stockheimer (Jr. • West Salem) in 25:55 for a 12th-place finish, followed by Camelle Davis (Sr. • Green Bay) at 26:20 for 18th, Alex Mahoney (Fr. • Spring Green) at 26:38 for 25th, Mariah McMullen (So. • Byron) at 26:59 for 29th and Michelle Murray (So. • Waunakee) at 27:15 for 33rd.

Continuing for UW-Oshkosh was Megan Tyjeski (Jr. • Wisconsin Rapids), El Walman (So. • Franklin), Kim Falk (Fr. • Poynette), Jenny Dedolph (So. • Tigerton), Alli Weil (Jr. • Cottage Grove) and Carly Brown (Sr. • Belleville). Tyjeski finished in 27:43 for 39th, Walman at 28:20 for 46th, Falk at 28:23 for 47th, Dedolph at 29:31 for 62nd, Weil at 29:59 for 64th and Brown at 30:08 for 65th.

Ann Tank of UW-Platteville finished first with a time of 23:57 while Danielle Kunkel, also of UW-Platteville finished second also with a time of 23:57. Taking third and fourth were Maddy Roznos with 24:14 and Alyssa Duncan with 24:19. Finishing up the top five was Emily Muhs of Lawrence University with a time of 24:39.
