Why did you choose UW-Oshkosh?
I chose UW-Oshkosh because I felt it was a great fit for me. I loved the campus, and I was set on going into a career in nursing. Oshkosh has an amazing nursing program, and I knew I would be supported in every aspect at UW-Oshkosh. Despite Oshkosh being far from my hometown and family, I knew I would immediately find my second home.

What other clubs/organizations on campus are you involved in?
Oshkosh Student Nursing Association (OSNA) on campus.

What do you like most about competing in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and being a NCAA Division III student-athlete?
Being an NCAA Division III student-athlete allows me to focus time on my academics. There is a great balance between sports and classes, which is extremely helpful in the nursing program. The WIAC is not only competitive, but also poses a high degree of respect and sportsmanship.

What is your greatest sports moment?
My greatest sports moment was placing fourth at the WIAC Team Tournament to qualify for the final four tournament this April. Thinking this could be my last tennis match with Oshkosh, it was bittersweet. It was a whole team effort and the amount of support from our family and friends who came to watch was amazing!

What is your favorite thing to do off the court/field with your teammates?
Go out to eat or team meals!

Who is someone that you look up to?
My parents are both people that I look up to the most. They have been my biggest supporters throughout my life. They continuously encourage me to be the best version of myself. I would not be where I am today without them.

Do you have any words of advice for younger/upcoming student-athletes?
Enjoy the time while you can and take advantage of the opportunities offered. There are times that college can be overwhelming, especially when juggling a sport on top of everything. Do not be afraid to ask coaches or professors for help. Ultimately take time for yourself and do things that you enjoy. It will fob t quicker than you think so make the most of it!

Reliable.

My dream job is to be an OB nurse and possibly a certified nurse midwife eventually.

I can do the bridge when shuffling a deck of cards!

Do you have any pre-game/pre-event superstitions or rituals? If so, what are they?
I'm not very superstitious, but I usually like to re-grip my racket before a match.
