UWO Concludes Regular Season On The Road This Weekend
OSHKOSH, Wis.–The UW-Oshkosh women's tennis team concludes the regular season with a pair of Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference duals this weekend. The Titans head to UW-Eau Claire on Saturday (Oct. 15) and UW-Stout for the regular season finale Sunday (Oct. 16).
UW-Oshkosh (5-3, 1-3 WIAC) will seek its first victory over UW-Eau Claire (4-1, 4-1) since 2011 before attempting to snap a three-dual skid against UW-Stout (2-4, 0-4). UW-Oshkosh has won 12 of its last 15 meetings with UW-Stout, including a string of 12 consecutive duals from 2008-19.
The Titans are looking to return to the win column for the first time since slipping past UW-River Falls, 5-4, on Oct. 1.
Cordelia Damkot (7-1), Louisa Damkot (5-3), Alysa Pattee (4-3) and Alexandra Schmoldt (4-4) have all produced at least a .500 record for the Titans in singles play during dual matches on the year.
The Damkots have paired up to compiled a 5-3 record in dual doubles matches to pace UW-Oshkosh.
UW-Eau Claire has won its last four conference duals since falling, 8-1, at 15-time defending WIAC champion UW-Whitewater during the season opener Sept. 2.
UW-Stout has not won a WIAC dual since defeating UW-Oshkosh, 9-0, during the 2021-22 league finale Oct. 17, 2021.
