Titans Tennis Blanks Ripon

RIPON, Wis.–The UW-Oshkosh women's tennis team remained unbeaten in dual matches this season with a 9-0 victory over Ripon College on Tuesday (Sept. 20) at the Ripon High School Courts.

UW-Oshkosh (3-0) improved to 25-8 against Ripon since 1985 after winning by a 9-0 score for the ninth time in the last 10 meetings in the series. The Titans won all but one set Tuesday.

Winning singles matches for the Titans were Alysa Pattee over Tia Endrizzi (6-4, 6-1) at No. 1, Alexandra Schmoldt over Allison Larsen (6-1, 6-2) at No. 2, Louisa Damkot over Tamera Holland (6-0, 6-2) at No. 3, Cordelia Damkot over Hadley Berendsen (6-0, 6-1) at No. 4, Jenna Nolde over Andreanna Wilke (7-6, 5-7, 10-8) at No. 5, and Hannah Stitt over Halle Hadel (6-1, 6-1) at No. 6.

In doubles action Pattee and Schmoldt downed Berendsen and Larsen (8-4) at No. 1, Nolde and Courtney Carpenter defeated Endrizzi and Wilke (8-3) at No. 2, and Cordelia and Louisa Damkot dispatched Allison Pavolovec and Emma Ziebell (8-4) at No. 3.

UW-Oshkosh returns home to host Marian University on Friday (Sept. 23) at the Oshkosh YMCA Tennis Center.
