Winning 72 of its 80 games in singles play, UW-Oshkosh rolled to a 9-0 victory over the Ripon College women's tennis team on Tuesday (Sept. 18) at the Kolf Sports Center Complex.

Karlie Laveau (So. • Waukesha) led the Titans' domination with her 6-0, 6-0 triumph over Alison Thies at No. 5 singles.

UW-Oshkosh had three players lose only one game as Preslee Nolte (So. • Warren, N.J.) marked a 6-0, 6-1 win over Brittany Sullivan at No. 1 singles, Morgan Counts (Jr. • Oshkosh) a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Katie Majerowski at No. 2 singles and Llora Waldman (So. • Wausau) a 6-0, 6-1 decision over Monica Schilling at No. 6 singles.

The Titans (6-0) also received victories of 6-2, 6-1 from Valerie Langkau (Jr. • Oshkosh) at No. 3 singles and 6-1, 6-1 from Megan Etten (Jr. • Howard) at No. 4 singles. Langkau defeated Elizabeth Ake while Etten ousted Olivia Wetzel.

UW-Oshkosh took all three doubles contests from Ripon College (2-4), including an 8-1 victory by Counts and Erica Van Riper (So. • Waukesha) over Thies and Wetzel in the second flight.

At No. 1 doubles, Etten and Nolte tallied an 8-3 win over Majerowski and Sullivan. Laveau and Hannah Bostwick (So. • Whitefish Bay) contributed an 8-2 victory over Ake and Schilling at No. 3 doubles.

UW-Oshkosh plays Lawrence University on Wednesday (Sept. 19) at the Kolf Sports Center Complex.
