Four Titans Named CSC Academic All-District

OSHKOSH, Wis.- UW-Oshkosh women's swimming & diving's Grace Fergus, Francesca Schiro, Cadence Showalter, and Brianna Smith earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District on Tuesday (April 2).

Fergus (Jr. • Sugar Grove, Ill.) and Showalter (Jr. • Naperville, Ill.)  are psychology majors with cumulative GPAs of 3.62 and 3.60 respectively. Schiro (Jr. • New Glarus) is a psychology major with a 3.64 cumulative GPA, and Smith (Sr. • Waterford) is a rehabilitation science major with a 3.91 cumulative GPA.

The 2023-24 Academic All-District Men's and Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced Tuesday, April 23.
