Titans Headed To Kenosha For Carthage Classic

OSHKOSH, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh swimming & diving teams will compete in the three-day Carthage College Classic from Thursday to Saturday (Oct. 30-Dec. 2).

The swimming events will be held at the Koenitzer Aquatic Center in Kenosha, while the diving events will take place at the Racine Aquatic Center.

The women hold 11 top-three seeds from five athletes and the 400-yard medley relay. The relay squad is third with a 4:10.64 time. Francesca Schiro (Jr. • New Glarus) is ranked first in the 100- and 200-yard freestyles with times of 53.97 and 1:56.94, both events she holds the program record in. She is also seeded third with a 5:25.00 in the 500-yard freestyle. Bella Cichon (Fr. • Manhattan, Ill.) rounded out the Titans' top-three swimming seeds in the 100-yard breaststroke with a 1:10.33 time for third. The UW-Oshkosh 1-meter diving record holder, Abbi Priestley (So. • Neenah) is forecasted to be the top finisher in both the 1- and 3-meter diving with seed scores of 456.68 and 440.85. Maya Indiraraj (So. • West Bend) and Lexi Johnson (So. • Kimberly) are seeded second and third in the diving events.

On the men's side, Damen Seremet (So. • Beaver Dam) and Dylan Edelstein (Fr. • Manhattan, Ill.) both hold top-three seed times. Seremet sits second in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:00.93 and Edelstein has a second-place seed score of 276.60 in the 1-meter diving.
