
Warhawks Win 12 Times To Defeat Titans
UW-Whitewater won 12 of the 13 events during a 153-77 victory over the UW-Oshkosh women's swimming & diving team on Friday (Nov. 15) in Whitewater.
The Titans received their triumph from Sally Hesby in the three-meter dive, where she earned a winning score of 237.70.
In the one-meter diving competition, Hesby tallied 213.75 points for second place and teammate Colleen Barnstable recorded 178.05 for third.
UW-Oshkosh's other runner-up finishes came from Katie Challoner in the 100-yard breaststroke at 1:09.55 and Vanessa Jagodinsky in the 100-yard butterfly at 1:08.46.
Hannah Forcey, Sarah Gee, Britney Hilgendorf and Carissa Priebusch clocked a 1:47.41 in the 200-yard freestyle relay for second place.
Forcey then obtained a third-place result in the 100-yard freestyle with her 59.08. Hilgendorf listed third in the 500-yard freestyle at 5:40.57, as did Sara Keller in the 100-yard butterfly at 1:10.96 and Jackie Wnuk in the 100-yard breaststroke at 1:19.34.
The Titans travel to the UW-Eau Claire Invitational on Nov. 23.
