Titans Headed to Costa Rica for 11-Day Trip, Two Friendly Matches

OSHKOSH, Wis.- The UW-Oshkosh women's soccer team is headed down to Costa Rica on Friday for an 11-day trip that will take them around the country and give the student-athletes the opportunity to experience and interact with new cultures. They will play two friendly matches against club teams in an international setting.

Friendly Matches

The Titans will face Heredia FF in their first friendly match on Jan. 21 in San José, and their second in San Carlos against San Carlos FF on Jan. 22.

Other Fun Activities

When they are not competing, the Titans will have the opportunity to take in the country through activities like a tour of the San José historical district, training with a professional Costa Rica soccer coach, visiting a volcanic hot water spring, a waterfall adventure and zipline tour, beach training and a morning off at the beach in their last full day in the trip.
