Titans Place Three Players On All-WIAC Team

Sophomore midfielder Robyn Elliott was among three UW-Oshkosh players named to the 2014 All-WIAC Women's Soccer Team.

It was the second straight all-conference award for Elliott, who was joined on this year's 20-member squad by UW-Oshkosh teammates Rachel Elliott and Nikki Mann.

Elliott started all 21 UW-Oshkosh matches this season and scored 14 points on six goals and two assists. She ranked fourth in the WIAC in match-winning goals (three) and seventh in both goals and points. Elliott has totaled 26 points on 10 goals and six assists during her 42-match career.

Rachel Elliott, Robyn's sister, also started every match for the Titans this season. The sophomore forward counted 18 points, seven goals and four assists to lead the team in all three categories. Elliott ranked second in the WIAC in match-winning goals (four), fifth in both goals and points and sixth in assists. She tallied a pair of goals during UW-Oshkosh's 4-0 win over UW-Superior on Oct. 4. Elliott's 37-match career features 24 points on nine goals and six assists.

Mann, a junior defender, joined the Elliotts as a starter in all 21 matches for UW-Oshkosh this season. She anchored a defense that posted 12 shutouts and allowed just 12 goals for a goals-against average of 0.56. Mann recorded her season's lone assist against UW-Superior. For her 61-match career, Mann has totaled five points on two goals and one assist.

Including Robyn Elliott, this year's All-WIAC Team featured 10 repeat selections. Other players recognized again were Jordan Myers, Brianna Reid, Sarah Sedlar and Jenna Woodson from UW-Whitewater; Carolyn Henderson and Ashley O'Connell from UW-Eau Claire; sisters Jenna and Lauren Kizlik from UW-Stout; and Kelly Denk from UW-La Crosse.
