Yineman Collects WIAC Wrestling Athlete Of The Week Award

UW-Oshkosh junior Beau Yineman was chosen as the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Kwik Trip Wrestling Athlete of the Week for events held Nov. 1-7.

Yineman won the 197-pound weight class during his season-opening performance at the UW-Stevens Point Pointer Open on Nov. 6.

Yineman defeated Cory Baldridge of North Central College (Ill.) in the championship match by a 3-1 sudden victory score.

Yineman advanced to the title bout by pinning Elijah Brockie of North Central College in 1:48, Alex Hoffman of Carthage College in 1:01 and Adam Ederer of Augustana College (Ill.) in 2:02.
