Kulchytskyy Tops Most Dominant Wrestler Standings

Nazar Kulchytskyy is the most dominant wrestler in the NCAA Division III, according to updated standings released by the NCAA.

Kulchytskyy leads the country with an average of 5.11 points per match. His 24-2 record this season includes 12 pins.

Wartburg College's (Iowa) Landon Williams ranks second with 4.94 points, while Wabash College's (Ind.) Riley Lefever lists third at 4.91.

Kulchytskyy owns a career record of 125-5 with 58 pins. He is six victories away from matching the school record held by Rick Gruber (1981-84). Kulchytskyy won national titles at 165 pounds last year and at 157 pounds during 2012.

The Most Dominant Wrestler standings are calculated by dividing the total number of points earned by the number of matches wrestled. Six points are awarded for pins, while technical falls are worth five, major decisions four and decisions three.
