Kulchytskyy Selected WIAC Wrestler Of The Week

UW-Oshkosh's Nazar Kulchytskyy earned WIAC Wrestler of the Week recognition after going unbeaten against opponents from UW-Parkside, North Central College (Ill.), Concordia University Wisconsin and Cornell College (Iowa) during the period of Jan. 20-26.

Kulchytskyy, a two-time NCAA Division III champion who owns a 121-5 career record, won twice by a pin as he stuck Pierce Holtfreter of Concordia University Wisconsin to the mat in 1:23 and Zach Noel of UW-Parkside in 3:59.

Kulchytskyy also won by scores of 6-2 over Josh Tardy of North Central College and 21-4 over Chase Ridenour of Cornell College.

UW-Oshkosh posted a 1-3 record during its four dual meets, including a 25-22 win over Concordia University Wisconsin on Jan. 25. The Titans lost 32-18 to UW-Parkside on Jan. 23 and 36-7 to North Central College and 32-11 to Cornell College on Jan. 25.
