Titans' Kulchytskyy High In National Rankings
UW-Oshkosh's Nazar Kulchytskyy (So. • Sosnivka, Ukraine) is
among the most dominant wrestlers in the country, according to the
most recent NCAA Division III statistics.
The 157-pound Kulchytskyy owns a season record of 36-1 with 14
pins. He averages 4.86 points per match, the fifth-best total in
the NCAA Division III. Ithaca College’s (N.Y) Jules Doliscar
tops the nation with an average of 5.16 points and
UW-Platteville’s Timothy Wunnicke ranks second at 5.13.
In the pin category, Kulchytskyy stands fourth (14) in the NCAA Division III. Wunnicke paces the nation with 22 pins and Doliscar comes in second at 17. Trine University’s (Ind.) George Markou is third with 16 pins.
Michael Fleck (Wilkes University, Pa.) is the only man with more technical falls than Kulchytskyy. Fleck has posted 10 this season, while Kulchytskyy owns eight victories with at least a 15-point margin.
During the 2011 campaign, Kulchytskyy compiled a 12-0 record with seven pins.
