Titans Break 188 Points for Fourth Time This Season, Beat Blue Devils on the Road

MENOMONIE, Wis.- The No. 1 nationally ranked UW-Oshkosh gymnastics team beat UW-Stout on Friday night in their second conference dual of the season. The meet was their first dual against the Blue Devils since the 2017-18 season.

The Titans took three of the events, scoring 47.875 points on the vault, 47.250 points on the uneven parallel bars and 47.350 points on the floor exercise. They also scored a 47.000 on the balance beam. 

Sophomore Mia Lucero took first in the vault, scoring. 9.650 points. Sophomore Daejah Rose and freshman Reanna McGibboney followed in second, each scoring 9.600 points. Fifth year Rahdea Jarvis scored a 9.525 to take fifth and senior Haley Volstad took sixth with a 9.500.

Jarvis was Oshkosh's top finisher in the uneven bars, scoring 9.500 points and taking second. Freshman Lydia Hayden and sophomore Sam Zeilinger each earned scores of 9.475 points, tying for third. McGibboney and senior Adana Amor rounded out Oshkosh's top-eight finishes with 9.425 and 9.375 points, respectively.

On the balance beam, freshman Mady Bellmore tied with two Blue Devils for first with a score of 9.550. Hayden grabbed fourth with a score of 9.475, and junior Anna Zoromski placed fifth, scoring 9.450.

Sophomore Delaney Cienkus placed first in the floor exercise, scoring 9.600 points. Senior Kennedy Springer followed in second with a score of 9.550. Jarvis took fifth with a 9.450 point finish and Hayden rounded out the top-eight places with a 9.400 point score.

Looking Forward

The Titans compete next at No. 2 UW-La Crosse, taking on the Eagles on Friday, Feb. 3 at 6:30 p.m.
