Titans Set for WIAC Championship

OSHKOSH, Wis.—Concluding the 2022 fall campaign, the UW-Oshkosh Titans women's golf squad is set to compete at the 2022 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Golf Championships, Oct. 7-9.

Action will begin at 11 a.m. at the Reedsburg Country Club in Reedsburg, Wisconsin with a shotgun start as the Titans begin the 54-hole championship. Tee times will be given for action starting on Oct. 8 and 9. UW-Eau Claire is set to host the 27th WIAC Championship. 

The Titans, who placed fifth last season, return Ava Downie and Josie Hofer from the team last season. Downie has the led the Titans with an 83.8 average.

Taryn Endres has shot an 87.6 this season as Hofer joins the top-3 low scores at 88.9. 

Downie had a career-best 76 at the Division III Classic. Endres matched a career-best at the same event, shooting an 80 over the two-day tournament.

The Division III Classic was kind to the Titans as the team shot a season low 320. Hofer complied a final score of 82, tying her career low. Alyssa Dreher shot a career-best 82 at the event, while Gwyn Golembiewski shot a career-best at the Blugold Invite the weekend prior.
