Braun Named WIAC Golf Athlete Of The Week

UW-Oshkosh's Hannah Braun was chosen as the WIAC Kwik Trip Women's Golf Athlete of the Week for events held Sept. 16-22.

Braun tied for fourth place among 74 golfers at the St. Kate's Fall Invitational held Sept. 21-22 at The Wilds Golf Club in Prior Lake, Minn.

Braun totaled 154 strokes (10-over-par) by improving her daily 18-hole score from 81 on the first day to 73 on the second. She concluded the tournament with four birdies and 21 pars.

Kristin Miyagi of Carleton College (Minn.) and Anna Tollefson of Bethel University (Minn.) tied for the individual title with 150 strokes.

UW-Oshkosh totaled 650 strokes en route to a fourth-place finish among the 12 competing teams.

Bethel University captured the team title with 622 strokes. The Royals were followed by second-place Carleton College with 635 strokes and third-place and tournament host St. Catherine University with 644.
